I find it interesting what the Pro-BLS people are saying. Here's a little sample:
"I don't know anyone who argues that pit bull bans or restrictions are designed to prevent all dog bites. It's designed to prevent maulings and death attacks by pit bulls." -Kori Nelson, a Denver assistant city attorney who lead the city's fight to re-enact its ban on pit bulls in 2004.
Okay, here we have a Pro-BLS person actually ADMITTING that BSL doesn't help to protect people against dog bites, and isn't that what Dangerous Dog laws are supposed to be about?
Sure, when all the Pit Bulls in an area are gone, the number of attacks by Pit Bulls will go down.
